learning love

This is a journey into life and love from a Christian perspective. Don't panic, it's the lighthearted side, the fun side, the kind of trip that you pack in advance to take. As in everyday life, some days are better than others and my words will reflect such. This is an account of my heart's song.

A Season of Thanksgiving

Wow...this year is drawing to a close and fall is nigh. God has continually shown Himself strong. My family is well blessed. Just a few praise reports...One brother is currently in route back from Africa preaching the gospel while successfully operating in his new role as Director of International Ministries with his Fellowship in AZ. His twin is soon underway to England anticipating the commencement of his doctoral studies in Art History at one of Cambridge University's prestigious colleges. And to top it off, my parents just celebrated 48 years of marriage this week. Let me just say that they have been and still are true examples to our family. They've taught me and all three of my brothers what it means to LIVE a Christian life pure and simple. By no means are they perfect, but they are the closest that I've seen. That's saying something. I think every little girl when she fantasizes as a child wants to marry a man just like her daddy. I was no different, but have come to the realization that this will be pretty hard for any man to accomplish. But hey, I stand corrected..."is there anything too hard for God?" Gotta love the Word.

My beloved, it is my prayer that each of you are living within the Will of our Savior Jesus Christ and that He sustains you through His most sufficient grace. Take heart and be of good courage. Wait I say on the Lord.

God truly is GOOD!! Thanks for the testimony on His goodness. Sometimes we don't take the time to acknowledge just how good He is... Praise Him!!

God is good, isn't He? He holds the world in His hands, and directs the course of life

I love Him and thank Him that we're not just left out here to our own devices.

It's a wonderful testimony to have two parents who are still married, and who modeled what it means to live a life with Christ as the head.

Amen...
