You are Loved...
Let me begin by saying that I love you Black Man. I love you dearly. You've been through it all, and so have we, your companion. You are knocked down, counted out, disregarded, and devalued. This I know and I'm here. But enough is enough. Ever heard anyone say..."Just let me love you"? Stop fighting ME, mistreating ME, disrespecting ME!!! I'M NOT THE ENEMY!!! Granted, this outrage is aimed at someone in particular I suppose, and I shouldn't let my fury overshadow this entire group. But dog gone it...I can't help it! A sistah has to vent! Breathe, girl, breathe!!!! WOOOOOSAAAHHH....
Ok, without pouring out my soul, I just want to express my support and belief in you my Adonis. I'm of the mindset that no matter how much education our men have attained, how many strides that they have made in society, or the level of accomplishment, that they still yearn for that reassuring affirmation, which is like a soothing balm and a healing touch. To take it a step further, we all need it. Its the very essence of the human and spiritual condition. This is just part of your human condition; your burden. Just know that it will get better and that YOU are part of the solution and not held captive to the problem.
Always in Love,

Kay,
Well said. Thanks for the affirmation. I just had to vent. But indeed you are right...I have to let it ride and truly discover the blessing in the lesson.
